CSFPA is proud to announce that the 2008 annual education conference “Imagine...Safety, Believe...Permanency, Achieve...Well-Being” will be held at the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs, Colorado from October 7 thru October 10, 2008. “We are delighted to be returning to this beloved historical site, “ states CSFPA President Sister Michael Delores, “Hotel Colorado and Glenwood Springs captured the heart of CSFPA years ago and we’re excited to be returning to this magical place.”
The 2008 conference will again be focused on the organization’s theme of “Imagine…Safety, Believe…Permanency, Achieve…Well-Being.” Although the entire format of the conference has not been completely planned, the “meat and potatoes” of the conference will be centered on these themes. “We’re planning on doing things a bit differently this year offering a day of ‘tracked’ programs as well as general sessions and workshops,” according to Executive Director, Sherry Owens. “We are planning a very exciting general session, an evening of celebration and 20 hours of educational programs for participants again this year. This is a great way for attendees to obtain their required hours of continuing education in a fabulous setting.”
The conference will also include the Second Annual Trivia Luncheon event so all attendees need to start sharpening their trivia skills around foster care rules and regulations, Colorado

facts and figures, Glenwood Springs, Hotel Colorado...and of course there will be a surprise category! Per Melissa Maile, 2008 Conference Planning Team member, “this was such an overwhelmingly fun event that we have to bring it back again for 2008. We need to make time for laughter as well as serious educational curriculum.”
